MEGP assemblies built to OEM hole geometry, septa thickness and format. Configured for the specified energy class and inspection criteria.
Medium-energy photons — the 171 and 245 keV emissions of ¹¹¹In, the multi-peak spectrum of ⁶⁷Ga — penetrate septa designed for ⁹⁹ᵐTc. MEGP collimation restores image contrast by placing more lead between channels, trading count rate for images free of septal-penetration artifacts.
