HEGP assemblies built to OEM hole geometry, septa thickness and hole length. Configured for the specified energy class and inspection criteria.
At 364 keV, the principal emission of ¹³¹I passes through lead far more readily than the photons of routine ⁹⁹ᵐTc imaging. HEGP collimators answer with thick septa and long channels — the only practical way to image post-therapy thyroid patients without penetration tails flooding the acquisition.
